Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce

You are invited to the What's Up Luncheon

Please join us for the What's Up Luncheon Aug 19 from 12-1 at the Finch Theatre. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Arshad Cheema, M.D. with an update from Lincoln County Hospital. Lunch will be catered by Main Street Coffee & Things, and many thanks to our August sponsor, Farm Bureau Financial Services - Tara M Kubick, LUTCF! Please RSVP by noon on Monday so we know how many tables and lunches to prepare!

Job Openings

Please keep sharing the job opportunities page with your circles and with those you know that are seeking employment. So many local staffs are working short-handed right now, let get those jobs filled!

P.S. Don't forget to let Kris and Kelly at Live Lincoln County know when your jobs are available and when your jobs are filled. If you are posting on your business social page, or calling or emailing the newspaper about listing your job opening, be sure and tell Live Lincoln County at the same time! You can use the form on the website or simply email lcedfmarketing@outlook.com!

SPARK funding for small business - Phase I & Phase II

If you haven't seen the new information from the Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation about the SPARK Phase I & Phase II programs, sign up to receive their newsletter, so you can stay in the know.

Local small businesses will be eligible to apply to receive assistance with covid-19 related expenses. There are two SPARK (task force of the CARES act) programs going on at almost the same time. Our local county government formed a committee to distribute the SPARK Phase I funding, which is being delegated to our local institutions and government organizations, as well as portion set aside for local businesses. Also, the SPARK Phase II grant applications are being announced by the Kansas Department of Commerce this week, with more help for small businesses, and will be administered by the state in a competitive application process.

Thank you so much for your continued support and engagement with the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce. Share these e-blasts with others that aren't receiving them and encourage them to sign up.
