LCRA Tentatively Plans Water Management Plan Meeting

The LCRA is tentatively planning to hold an annual review meeting of its 2020 Water Management Plan with stakeholders in late summer or early fall, depending on COVID-19 developments.

The River Authority originally had intended to meet with stakeholders in the spring, but delayed those plans due to the pandemic.

LCRA has been operating under its new 2020 Water Management Plan for several months.

TexMesonet
provides real-time
weather information

TexMesonet is a network of weather stations that stretches across Texas to provide near real-time data for use by meteorologists, first responders and the public.

Access to timely weather data is especially helpful at this time of year when hurricanes and thunder storms can suddenly turn drought to flooding.

The network began operation in May 2016 and is operated by the Texas Water Development Board.
