Dress Code & Code of Conduct.
Students should log into Zoom meetings dressed and prepared to learn. Since what a person wears influences their mindset, students are strongly encouraged to wear their school uniforms during synchronous (live) Zoom courses. Students will not, however, be penalized for not wearing full uniform. Still, it is not appropriate for students to attend Zoom meetings dressed in pajamas, swimsuits, or clothing that is offensive or revealing in any way.
Parents should help students prepare for online learning by arranging learning spaces within the home that are clean and quiet. Learning spaces should not have distractions such as toys, pets, televisions, etc. While this may not be possible in all situations, every attempt should be made to provide a quiet, distraction-free learning space.
Students will be required to interact with their teacher and peers during the live sessions. Students should be visible in the camera during the duration of the live stream and actively engaged. Students that loop video or put pictures in front of their cameras to try and avoid participating will be subject to school discipline.
