The Valley Patriot

Making the 6th District Great Again!
View this email in your browser
Greetings,

First off, a special thanks to Barbara C, who suggested that we go with the word “Patriot”.  With Barbara in mind, the newsletter will be named The Valley Patriot.  Also thanks to Lana L. V. who suggested the theme of the Newsletter!  Much appreciated and thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Please remember the convention is this coming Saturday.  To vote in the convention, you will need to have paid the $35.00 fee.   If you have not paid this fee, please bring payment, we will accept either cash, credit card, or check.

You will be voting for Republican Party of Virginia Chairman, RNC Chairwoman, 2 Presidential electors, and 4 amendments.

As  your District Chairman, I cannot and will not take a position on any of the races or amendments.  However I will try to answer any question you may have on the amendments. Voting locations are listed later in this newsletter.

The GOP needs to learn the lessons of Staunton – and implement them in each precinct in the 6th Congressional District.  We do that, we get our voters to the polls.  We get our voters to the polls, and we win!

Also some great news from our neighbors to the north!  Last night the Frederick County Board of Supervisors passed a VCDL sponsored resolution which stated they will not be passing any more anti 2A ordinances, and called for the General Assembly to repeal the silly useless anti gun laws passed in last year's session.  A special thanks to Supervisor Blaine Dunn for all his hard work in getting this resolution passed.

I’ll be travelling to all the Counties and Cities that comprise the 6th Congressional District over the coming months.  Can’t wait to meet all of you, and hear your great ideas for how to Make Virginia Red Again!

I remain your servant

S John Massoud
6th District Republican Party Chairman
