PHASE 3 REOPENING: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!


Who’s ready to get back to The Works!

We are ready to see you, and we want to make sure all your questions are answered about Phase 3 and what you can expect. Please read through this email carefully to review the following information:   
 

PHASE 3 SERVICES



Strength and Cardio Equipment 

The most-used part of the Club is coming back with some changes for everyone's safety. Please note our Safe Care Commitment- we are frequently sanitizing throughout the day.  Learn more about these areas here. 
(No reservation needed. See information on Club Capacity Counter below and reduced capacity guidelines.)
 

Works Training Academy - Personal Training and Small Group Training 


Personal Training and Small Group Training are great ways to reintegrate back to our facility or to ramp up your fitness journey! Personal training and our NEW training "Pods" launched in June to great success. The Pods allow for social distancing while you work with your trainer. Each Pod comes equipped with its own set of equipment and sanitizing station. To learn more about getting started with a trainer, see info here

Small Group Training is back! SGT will also use the Pods with class sizes limited to 6 people. Learn more about all our class offerings here! See schedule here, including Youth Training Academy!


Group Fitness Classes (NEW WEEK OF AUGUST 17: MindBody Studio Reopens!)



Group fitness classes launched in Phase 2, and Phase 3 will bring back more of your favorite classes and instructors. You will be required to activate your membership to utilize our in-person or NEW virtual Zoom classes.

Our classes have been reimagined to maximize the safety of all participants. Class sizes will be smaller and will take place on the outdoor basketball courts (weather permitting), in the MindBody Studio or in the gymnasium to accommodate 10-foot social distancing between participants.

Member-Only Virtual Zoom Classes 

Who’s enjoyed the virtual classes on our Facebook page and Works-Out group? Now as we move to our new normal, these benefits will available for Members-only through Zoom! This requires an active membership. Our WorkS-Out Facebook group will remain during this transition but we will no longer be broadcasting classes. Learn more on how to access Zoom Classes here

Works Cycle Zone Virtual Classes in Studio 

Get your heart pounding and adrenaline pumping with Les Mills RPM™ virtual cycling. These classes will be available daily with a maximum of 8 people per class to maximize 10’ of social distance. Unlike before, virtual classes will require a reservation. 

For all above class offerings, registration is required. Check our website to view the schedule or your Member Portal App. You must register for group exercise classes in all locations, up to 24-hours before the class through the Member Portal, the NEW Member Portal app, or by calling the Welcome Desk at 603-742-2163. Zoom-access information will be provided during registration and on the website. 

Please note that the class offerings for Group Fitness, Virtual Zoom and Works Cycle Zone may change after initial launch. We will be assessing member needs, timing and offerings as we embark on Phase 3. We take into consideration staffing, cleaning/sanitizing time, club hours as well as member needs when determining schedule.

Indoor Track (by reservation)

The Indoor track will be available for walkers only who reserve a 30-minute time slot. Only one walker at a time will be allowed on the track, unless you are walking with a family member from your household. Reservations can be made up to 24 hours in advance in Member Portal. 

Outdoor Tennis (by reservation)

One of our outdoors tennis courts will be available by reservation. Learn more here.
Court will be available Mon – Fri, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sat & Sun, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 


Indoor Family Aquatic Center Pool (by reservation)

Our new reservation system for the Indoor Family Aquatic Center will allow 4 groups of people from the same household to reserve space in the pool at a time. Learn more and reserve here.

Scheduled lap swimming in our lap pool will also continue with more slots available. This has been a popular option from our Phase 2 services! 


Basketball Court (by reservation)


Families can book half of the basketball court to shoot hoops or for other fun- weekends only. Please bring your own balls and equipment!  Members from the same household can reserve a 30 minute slot via member portal, the app or by calling 603-742-2163. Hours of availability will be updated in real time, in the portal. Only one person per household needs to make the reservation. 


Private Swim Lessons 

Many people are asking about swim lessons! In Phase 3 we will be expanding our offerings to more ages and abilities by allowing a parent or caregiver to be in the pool with the student. Our instructors will remain on the deck and will not enter the water. Registration must be done by requesting your lessons here


Wellness Center 


Wellness Center programming is being offered as both virtual and in-person visits. In addition, the August session of the HealthyCare 90 Day Program will be offered virtually starting August 20, 2020. Learn more here!

Locker Rooms 

All locker rooms will be open and available, but when possible, please come prepared for your workout to limit the numbers of people inside. The locker rooms will be cleaned and disinfected routinely throughout the day, and the freshly cleaned lockers and showers will be marked for your convenience. 

We are excited to bring you all these services as part of our return to normal, and we look forward to adding even more soon. 

 


CLUB CAPACITY AND SCHEDULING



Phase 3 was designed with the safety of our members and staff as our top priority. Social distancing will be ensured in each area by limiting capacity at the facility. 

To help with the traffic flow in and out of the club, the NEW Club Capacity Counter is updated in real-time to let you know if there's room for a visit. It’s a safe way for you to be able to check the status before heading to the facility! It will be available to view on the website and Member Portal App. (Restart your app, go to Account -> Club Info -> View Current Club Capacity.)

We will also be continuing to require reservations for certain services. If you haven’t done so already, download the NEW Member Portal app for faster and more convenient scheduling.  


MEMBERSHIP DUES


We can't wait to see you! If you would like activate your membership please let us know today! Active memberships will be charged full dues (minus your March credit) once the membership becomes active.

Please note, Phase 3 member services are available to active members. We are currently not accepting guests or guest passes.

March Credits: A credit for 50% off your regular monthly dues has been added to all accounts since we closed on March 17. This account credit will be applied to your charges on your first month back once your membership is activated. 

Not Quite Ready to Visit? NO ACTION REQUIRED at this time. Your membership will remain on hold in August and your dues will NOT be charged. You do not have to contact us to request a continued hold. 

Wellness Center: If you are currently enrolled in a Wellness Center program and wish to activate your membership, please reach out to Carrie.Richer@wdhospital.org

SAFE CARE COMMITMENT 

Maintaining the safety of The Works will be all our responsibilities! The Works will protect you through rigorous screening and cleaning, but each member also pays a role: 
  • Practice frequent hand washing
  • Wear masks in common areas and whenever possible during your workout. Mask may be removed and stored in a small baggie when needed.
  • Disinfect equipment before and after use.
  • Consider limiting your workout length to avoid unnecessary exposure and decrease congestion.
