A tale I heard

Actor Adrian Edmondson on how TV show 'Bottom' had longer lasting effects than 'The Young Ones':

"Young Ones was always a cult. Which is a nice way of saying we delivered very low audience figures. But I got a part in Star Wars because Rian Johnson, the director, was a huge fan of Bottom. As a student, he’d filmed his mates doing an episode. So when he approached me and said would you like to be in Star Wars, I couldn’t turn him down. Not that I would have done anyway. It was extraordinarily good fun. Though sadly – and I really hope this won’t ruin it for you – they don’t actually film it in space."

A tale I wrote

Peter Piper
picked a peck
of pickled peppers

and packed just the peck
of pickled peppers
in a vac-pack
in his back pack

and had a pretty pants,
under-prepared
camping trip.
