WMO International Weather Apps Awards 2020

WMO launches the International Weather Apps Awards, for the recognition of excellence and to stimulate innovative approaches toward high-quality weather and climate information to people. All weather app providers of from public, private academic sectors or other entities are welcome to participate. Find out more at the Award 2020 Website.

WMO Data Conference 2020

WMO is undertaking a review of its data policies, framed under Resolution 40, 25 and 60, with an aim to bring a refreshed data policy resolution for its Members and to the global weather/climate/water community. The WMO Data Conference, to be held from 16 to 18 November 2020, will be a significant milestone to canvas a range of views regarding current needs and modalities for data exchange and to formulate recommendations for policy development.
