Our plan is to use this same link each week, for the coming weeks, unless we need to change things for security reasons.
If you have access to a bible, whether it be a physical one, or one on your mobile device, do have it with you, as we will follow the text together.
The Service on Sunday 16th August will be led by Rev Andy Lindley. We'll continue to work through the book of Acts, this coming Sunday looking at Act 5:17-42
If you missed last weeks zoom service, Andy has recorded a video on his thoughts on the reading and that can be watched on YouTube HERE.
As usual, if you cannot join in our zoom services, there is a list on the circuit website with more "worship at home resources" found HERE.
Prayer sheet
The prayer sheet from John Bailey for Thursday can be found HERE.
Garden Update
Thanks to Andy and John B who helped deliver the plants from Beverly’s last week and to Audrey Hawkes who joined John B on Wednesday to plant up the raised beds along with Sally and volunteers from Planet Food (see pics below).
The plan is that the leaking water pipe in the garden will be removed/stopped this Sunday. Then work on the rest of the garden can start again, including weeding and planting up the rest of the garden (though some has scaffolding on it at the moment). Watch this space for more news of when we will need help.

Praying for our Circuit
This week we pray together for our Local Preachers and Worship Leaders. Let us thank God for their contribution to the work of God in our Circuit, and pray for them as they consider how best to respond to God's call in this time.
During August we will be using the 4 themes of Our Calling as the focus for our prayers. This week’s theme is Worship.
Almighty God,
Give us words to worship you;
To declare your mighty acts,
To praise your name,
Whenever we gather, indoors or outdoors, in person or online, be the focus of our gathering,
Alone or many, may our worship be the thread that unites us.
Help us to remember in our busy lives
That our duty and our delight should be to worship you
Always and ever.
Amen.
If there is anything you would like included in these weekly emails, please send them to me by Friday evening.
Regards, Naomi
