Let’s Celebrate the LWV
Join fellow Los Altos Mountain View members for a virtual celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League of Women Voters. We will start with a toast to the suffragists who fought to win our right to vote and those who founded the League of Women Voters. Be prepared to raise a glass to the League and over a century of educating voters and defending democracy.
Amy Ellison, curator at the Los Altos History Museum, will join us to talk about the progress of Rise Up! the Fight for Women's Suffrage exhibit. Our League is a sponsor.
Afterwards, we will provide a brief update about the League and the upcoming election and answer questions.
