The first round of the Center City Small Business Innovation Fund awarded over $1 Million in grants to 34 small businesses, including 11 small businesses in South End.
Congratulations to our neighbors in South End receiving grants in the first round: Boardroom Health Solutions, aka Jamie Scott Fitness, Bulgogi Box, Futo Buta, Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art, Golden Cow Creamery, Hodges Taylor Art Consultancy, OMJ Clothing, Oh Script Paper Co.., Savvy Bridal Boutique, Sycamore Brewing, and Triple C Brewing.
For a full list of grantees, check out our website or read this article featuring interviews with some recipients.
Stop by to congratulate these neighbors, and stay tuned for new improvements and pivots they are making to adapt to a world with COVID-19 risks.
In the first round of the Innovation Fund grants, funded by Honeywell, Bank of America, and Duke Energy, 94% of all grantees were either minority, women, or veteran-owned businesses. A second round of funding will open in early September, and will be announced in this newsletter and on SouthEndCLT.org.
