Location | Nazareth Gazebo Courtyard
Beauty and the Beast is still happening; the location, however, has changed! Instead of seeing the performance in our Patsy Miller Studio Theater, we invite you to watch the production outside in our campus’ beautiful Nazareth Gazebo Courtyard. The change in venue allows us to safely accommodate as many patrons as possible while also following social distancing requirements.
Seating | General Admission & Reserved Seating
Regarding seating for the performances, there is a reserved/provided seating section as well as “bring your own lawn chair” general admission sections. The reserved/provided seats are the same seats that have been used in the Patsy Miller Studio Theater; they will be cleaned and sanitized before every performance. For patrons sitting in the “bring your own lawn chair” general admission sections, we ask that you bring lawn chairs rather than sitting on blankets on the ground; if you are sitting on the ground, you will have an obstructed view. Your ticket will indicate where you are seated and whether you have to bring a chair. ADA Seating is available, please complete the seating needs question during the ordering process to best accommodate you.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance start time.
Outdoor Performance Information
The show must go on, rain or shine! If there is rain in the forecast, please bring an umbrella since you will not be under shelter if you are in the audience. If there is lightning around the time of the performance, we will cancel that performance. If this happens, patrons will be able to contact the Ticket Office to exchange their ticket for a voucher to watch the livestream recording of the production.
Since this is an outdoor performance, we are encouraging you to prepare for outdoor circumstances including uneven walking paths and walking on grass. We recommend that you bring shoes that are comfortable/easy to walk on grass with, bug spray, sunscreen and sunglasses (matinee performances), umbrella (possible rain), and a personal water bottle (concessions will not be provided).
For the safety and comfort of everyone involved, we are not allowing pets in the performance space.
COVID Information
We ask you to wear your face mask as you enter the Nazareth Courtyard and while you are being seated. Once you have been seated, we encourage you to wear your mask as you watch the performance to help protect the actors, crew members, and other audience members, but it is acceptable to remove your mask once you are seated. We also ask that you follow social distancing protocol as much as possible while in attendance of the performance. Attendees will be Health Screened before being seated. You will be asked if you have any COVID-related symptoms or have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive. A touchless temperature check may be conducted.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available until one week before your performance date. No refunds are available the week of your performance.
