Father God,

We praise You Jehohvah-Nissi, and lift Your banner high, for though all seems to be coming apart around us, and hope is scarce, we know that You Lord are on the throne.  You love us more than we will ever be able to comprehend, and that brings us, Your children, great comfort and peace amidst the chaos.  Our hope is in You, not in the world.  Thank You for making us strong and steadfast in Your truth, and help us to persevere in Your truth, that we may not become prideful or complacent, but that we stand firm, ever watchful, with an attentive heart and mind to the Holy Spirit.

I was recently reminded by a dear brother that what we are experienceing now, world wide, is a departure from religious busyness, and we're given a great opportunity to come nearer, in quiet meditation to You Lord.  Just as Isaac was meditating in the field when Rebekah came to him, just as Jacob wrestled with You alone all night, just as Peter went up on the roof to meditate, and just as our Savior Jesus often went alone to mediate, may we now take this time to get alone, often with You, for we know that our best time is the time we spend with You.

Therefore, we come before You Lord with prayers and praises.  Prayers of petitions that we bring to You Father, as our needs arise, and praises, because You alone are worthy of praise.

We urgently come before You Jehovah-Rapha asking for Your healing and intervention for Sam, our Global Council Chairman, and his wife Amanda, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  They need to get out of Angola, and get to the USA for treatment.  Lord we humbly ask You to make a way for this to happen, and in the process, bring strength and healing to Amanda, and peace and comfort to both her and Sam.  Thank You Lord!

Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. - Psalm 31:24

Lord we lift up the family of one of the Namibian Board members whose mother unexpectedly passed away.  May Your comfort and peace come upon them through Your children who surround them, and give them assurance that she is with You now. No pain.  No tears.  But overwhelming joy!

We thank You for sending Melissa, and the work that she has done for Genesis Design, and pray that her new teaching position will bring much good fruit for Your kingdom, touching the lives of those she teaches.  And we praise You for sending Karin to take her place in the work of the ministry.  Provide her with wisdom, discernment, and vision.

Thank You Lord for the completion of the new English brochure about Genesis Design that will be used in Sub-Saharan Africa.  We ask that You go before each one, preparing hearts and minds that will read it, bringing new, fresh fruit, and enlightenment to their hearts.  Please use this tool that You have provided, to create new members and workers for the ministry, all bringing glory to Your name.

Peter, from Tanzania, and a former teacher of Genesis Design, and his wife now live in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, USA, and are hoping to teach Genesis Design to their church. Father, please bring about this possibility.

The workers of the ministry are still hard at work writing lessons, and doing what needs to be done to complete the website; therefore, we ask for perseverance, renewed strength of body and mind, and for protection of heart.  Surround them Lord with Your armor of light!

As many businesses are closed due to the current pandemic, the Genesis Design training facility in Okahandja, Namibia is also closed.  Jehovah-Jireh we know that You are our provider, and we ask that You continue to provide the means necessary to keep the training facility running smoothly, even though the funds are "few and far between" to sustain it.  We trust in You, and You alone Lord for this provision.

Lastly Father God, we ask a special blessing upon Jos and Sylvia, as they are still in Germany awaiting permission to travel either home to Namibia or to be with family in the US.  Sylvia's passport expires very soon, and we ask that You go before those who will be approving her new passport, to touch their hearts and minds that this process will be done quickly and efficiently, showing that Your hand is ever present in the matter.  

Make our ears attentive to Your voice, and not that of the world.  You are in control amidst all the chaos and disruption, and it's in knowing You are sovereign that we have complete rest and peace, and we ask that You give us the courage to share that with those around us who don't have it.  

Lord, please lift the veil of fear that has so encompassed Your church at this time, and once again fill Your houses of worship with Your people!
