Letter to the Synod of
the Northeast Community

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Greetings to you all. We know that many of you are currently without power and digging out from under trees that have fallen as a result of the tropical storm Isaias. Please know that we are keeping on top of the situation in your presbyteries through your presbytery leaders. We wish everyone safety after this storm hit in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Prayers from the synod are with you as you wait for power and tend to recovery activities.
Not meaning at all to minimize the conditions of many of you at this time, we are happy to provide you with the Synod of the Northeast's Transitional Leader Position Description. Please read it and pass it along to anyone you know within PCUSA who you think has the skills we are seeking and is a forward-thinking person. The deadline for submission of resumes or Personal Information Forms is September 15th. For anyone who may ask, the position description can be found on the synod's website: www.synodne.org/blog
