Dear Huns Social Members:
The following people have been proposed for and accepted nomination in the upcoming Huns Board of Directors election:
- Ed Bandas
- Carl Dahlberg
- Rick Dude
- Ross Reynolds
- James Elston
- Harald Hofmann
- Micheal Hunter
- Austin Vandiver
There are two elected positions this year and we will use the Condorcet ranking voting system, you will rank order your candidate preference for the full slate of candidates instead of just casting 2 votes.
The campaigning period will begin now, with elections beginning on 8/18 and closing on 9/1. Results will be announced at the AGM tentatively scheduled for 9/2. Candidates are encouraged to get their platforms out and begin campaigning.
Thank you to the recently appointed Austin Huns RFC 2020 Inspector of Elections committee for gathering these nominations and coordinating elections: Anthony Schoggins, Ryan Walker, Jason Rogers, Michael Conroy, and chair Demetrio Leyva.
Additionally, the board has amended Article II Section 4 of our bylaws to reduce quorum requirements for elections to 40%, with subsequent drop to 33% if needed. Thanks to those that helped the BoD in the discussion on this amendment.
