hello
If there's one thing we've discovered during this year of restrictions and cancellations, it's that there's a lot more to ride on the doorstep than we'd ever realised. We just weren't looking hard enough.

When your movements are limited to a small radius, not only might you find new stuff to ride — be it a nice bit of trail, a single turn or a simple bump in the road — and ways to ride it, but you also tend to appreciate it all the more.

We've been spoilt with riding trips and travel to races for far too long. But now we have been reminded you really don't need much or to go far to have a blast on two wheels.

Enjoy the rest of the week. Ride a bike if you can. Any old bike. Huck off a curb, smash into a turn or just use it to get to the woods and start building something new.

We've selected six things you might enjoy reading or watching this week. Hack bike, anyone?

Cheers,

James

We started making some bits of merch to compliment our books and other print stuff — a way of supporting those projects so we could keep documenting mountain biking. Now we have a lot of fun making wearable stuff as well as readable things. We hope you'll have a browse and thank you for any purchases. Every one of them helps keep our wheels rolling.
