WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEK???
Being UU at Home
Building a Wisdom Library

Our Being UU at Home lesson this week is about Building a Wisdom Library. We take a look at the Six Sources of Unitarian Universalism and ask you to reflect on where you find wisdom in your own life.

Our lesson for next Sunday, August 16th, "Who Cares? Taking it Into the World," will explore ideas on how to engage in social and environmental activism with your family. Check the Being UU at Home webpage on Sundays to see the latest lesson. You can also check out previous lessons you missed!
Please be aware that you will need to register ahead of time if would like to attend the virtual memorial service for Dorothy Emery at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 15th, or for Susan Riegel at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 16th.

Click on a name above to be redirected to the registration page for that service.

Announcements
Reminder from the COVID-19 Task Force

Based on current COVID-19 case levels in Greenville County, all GUUF buildings and the grounds continue to be closed except for identified essential personnel.

The UU World of Children has a separate reopening plan, and is likely to be resuming classes very soon. It is essential that all of us at GUUF follow the stated closure procedures to reduce the risk of exposure for children, teachers and family members. If you are not sure if what you want or need to do at GUUF is essential, please contact Karen in the GUUF office to inquire.  Karen will share your inquiry with the COVID 19 task force. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
