I am thankful for:

Roland finishing the wood/garbage shed ... and (believe it or not) be being able to start staining it soon
an evening boat ride with the whole family ... and Roland taking photos ... and Heidi uploading the photos
having a backyard dinner with some of my besties .. it felt so great to be together with them in person
my back being stiff ... because at least it hasn't totally seized (yet, and fingers crossed that it won't)
dock boat rides ... especially having the most amazing weather and sunset on our dinner excursion ... and having so much delicious food and such great company
Roland relocating the pine cabinets from Stef's room to ours ... I am already loving the convenience of the cabinets over under-the-bed storage
some of you participating in the most recent #giving5thanks gratitude challenge
walks with Luna ... and being able to let her (mostly) clean off at a neighbour's beach after her dip in a swampy pond
the registrants and participants (!!!) in my free box-making webinars ... it makes me so happy that new people are discovering and attending my online training sessions
and so many, many more things.

Recent Creative Treats Activities

I held the 5th class of the pilot 6-week Creative Cards and Crafts program for the Dementia Society. We have yet to schedule the 6th class (we had to postpone one due to travel) as well as a few bonus classes.

I have held a few more free box-making webinars over Zoom with registration via Eventbrite. Like during my online card classes, I am learning so much.

I have been making a few updates to my website and have created a Linktree profile which allows me to put the links to various platforms all in one place. Check it out if you have a moment. I'd love to hear any feedback.

Upcoming Creative Treats Activities

I have scheduled some more free 'Treat Boxes 101' webinar on Wednesdays at 10:00 and free 'Treat Boxes 102' mini-courses on Mondays at 10:00. You can signup through Eventbrite. I am continuing to improve the slides and to make more sample boxes. I would love any feedback about the event details, the sign-up process, or about how the webinar goes if you/when you are able to attend.

The next Creative Cards and Crafts session for The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County will be starting Tuesday 15 September. I shall include a link to the registration page once it has been set up.
