9th August 2020
Dear Friends,
Today is the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Click here for the Scripture Readings.
In the Gospel passage set for today, we read the story of Jesus coming to the disciples in a strom on the lake, he walks across the water and reassures them of his presence. Our faith teaches us that Christ is present with us whatever the storms of life might be.
You can hear some words from me today by clicking on the blue button below.
Sunday 16th August 9.30am Please come to Church for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary. As well as the outdoor mass, there will be quartet of fabulous singers providing marvellous music and procession of Our Lady around the Churchyard, with homemade cakes, coffee and Amaretto afterwards.
Weekday Mass times
Because of the current restrictions and the building works in church we will follow a simplified pattern of mass times until 6th September when we hope to be back in church.
Sundays 9.30am outdoor Solemn Mass at Old St Pancras
Wednesdays 11am Mass in St Paul's Church followed by coffee
Thursdays 10am Mass at Old St Pancras followed by coffee
Simon, our Director of Music will be emailing later with musical reflections for this Sunday.
I look forward to seeing many of you at 9.30am for the outdoor Mass.
Every Blessing,
Fr James
