Dear Tribe of Mat & Pen~

I write with one last call out to those of you waiting until the clock strikes 12 to register for "Poetry & the Body".  If you plan to join us in creative alchemical community in the name of beauty, wholeness, and sensuality--a basic human need that becomes even more important to nurture during a global pandemic--now is the time to claim one of the remaining seats. Registration will close tomorrow at midnight EDT (Monday, August 10) so we all have time to get oriented while collective visions of poetry dance through our heads. 

Poets, writers and seekers of all experience levels are welcome in this course and truly make these virtual gatherings the special circles that they are. We need each other's perspectives and wisdoms and curiosities to awaken us all to the beauty and importance of the entire spectrum of experience and emotion that our bodies carry through our days, and our lifetimes. 

By the end of this expedition, you will have generated drafts of new poems, and revised others. You will have deepened your craft knowledge, broadened your readership, explored new ways of approaching your poetry, and will have experienced poetry to be a self-care skill allowing you to inhabit yourself and your life on and off the page in renewed ways.
