Kaain is a low folk/dark indie duo consisting of sisters Annika Åman and Julia Åman from Vaasa, Finland. The group was formed in 2015 and has been performing on various scenes and independent festivals in Finland ever since. The dynamical music is characterized by vocal harmonies, down-tuned guitars, deep drums and the saw. Kaain moves lavishly among the mesmerizing harmonies and muddy, alternative rock. The atmospheric soundscape is appealing to a wide variety of listeners. On the 5 of August Kaain are releasing the single ”How to lie”, it is the first taste from an upcoming album which, among others, features guitarist Pelle Ossler. 

In the autumn of 2017 Kaain released their first single ”My Darkness And I”. In 2019 their first EP was released under the same title. 

The single, as well as the album, was recorded at Studio Skutan (Ruben Engzell) in Mölnbo, Sweden, and are released via the independent label Ella Ruth Institutet.
