ELAN and Control 4 drivers available

ELAN and Control 4 are producers of automation and networking systems for homes and businesses, offering a personalized and unified smart home system to automate and control connected devices including lighting, audio, video, climate control, intercom, and security.

Drivers for ELAN and Control 4 enables easy integration of NETIO power sockets with these systems, which saves time to installers. The drivers support all NETIO devices and various versions of the drivers allow control of power socket outputs (switch on, switch off or restart of your AV equipment) or monitoring electricity values of connected devices.

Control 4 drivers - Basic and Pro

NETIO Control4 driver is available as free (Basic) version to control device outputs or paid (Pro) version with energy consumption monitoring and Output status feedback.

Basic driver:

Turn ON and OFF any outlet

Pro driver:

Turn ON and OFF any outlet
Change the output state (Toggle) of any outlet
Restart (ShortOff) of any outlet

ELAN drivers - Basic and Pro

Basic driver allows an ELAN system to communicate with a NETIO Smart Power device to control switching. The Pro Edition provides switching and feedback.

Basic driver:

Relay control: Turn ON and OFF any outlet

Pro driver:

Relay control: Turn ON and OFF any outlet
Event Map Commands: All outlets can be switched ON, OFF, Toggled and Restarted (Off, 5secs, On)
Energy Monitoring and Status Feedback, where available

Security firmware update

NETIO Cloud service is using secured communication MQTTs. High security level is based on certificates for TLS encryption. Every certificate has its limited time validity and has to be updated before its expiration. Devices listed below have to be manually updated to new FW, otherwise its certificate expires during Autumn 2020. NETIO products will do the best to ensure NETIO Cloud will keep working with old certificates as long as possible but we recommend update your devices before 29th of September 2020.
