Introducing... the "10 to Try" Reading Challenge.
"10 to Try" is our online fall reading challenge that asks you to read a book in each of 10 categories, keep track of your reading, and share your favorite discoveries with the library and your fellow readers. Its a great opportunity to broaden your reading horizons and earn a chance to win great prizes!
Runs from Sept. 14th - Oct 25th.

Congratulations to Rowan, Oakley & Asher, the winners of the youth summer reading prize drawing! Overall, 78 badges were earned, and over 100 reading days were logged during the program! Great work everybody!
Do you have children under the age of five? Give them a boost in their education by reading to them. The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten (BBK) program is designed to help parents prepare their children for one of life’s big milestones: kindergarten.
Amanda is quirky: She likes to speak in rhymes, rides a yellow bike instead of driving a car, has colorful hair and tattoos, wears large red-framed glasses, jerks her neck frequently, took in one stray cat and got 10 kittens in return.
Visit our Little Free Libraries! Take a book and return a book. Anytime - 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week. They are located at the beach, the park and the Polk County building.
