Field Notes

Green Gala Success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Ah-Nab-Awen Park, partied from a distance at home, sponsored our event costs, or made a donation to fund our work. Check out event photos from Foster Memories, and complete our survey if you haven't already!

Poster Order Update

Our limited-edition parks posters have been produced and orders are being fulfilled! If you opted to pick-up from our office, please check your email for remaining pick-up times. Email questions to abigail@friendsofgrparks.org.

Building Tables

Friends recruited volunteers to help repurpose wood pallets into tables for local businesses! These tables provide equitable opportunities for all businesses to serve our community in new outdoor social zones. Thanks to everyone who lent a hand!

Volunteer Safely

Volunteer projects are limited to groups of 10, we provide face masks and gloves, and all tools are assigned to one volunteer for the duration of the project. Read more about our COVID-19 safety precautions on the blog, and message us to organize a project for your group!
