During the months of summer (this is the last Sunday!) we continue the collection for a local women's shelter. The collection was interrupted in mid-March by the lockdown; therefore, instead of dedicating a month for charity, we'll do it for the rest of the summer.
You may leave your donations in the collection basket by the candles or donate onlinethrough PayPal, but be sure to mark it as "charity month."
Around November or December we will have another charity month. If you have suggestions for a charity we can support, please let Fr Aleksey know by replying to this email.
My family and I will be away this coming week, Monday through Thursday, Aug. 31-Sept. 3.
If you'll need to reach me, you can either email me or call the rectory (the calls forward to my cell).
