Today is the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

30th August 2020

Dear Friends,

Today is the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Click here for the Scripture Readings. In today's Gospel we hear Jesus teach that in order to follow him we should deny ourselves and take up our cross. Most of us are all too aware of the crosses that we have bear from time to time, however it is important to remember that Christ is always with us helping to bear the load.

You can hear some words from me today by clicking on the blue button below.

Sylvia Hearn RIP
Sylvia's body will be received into church at 4.30pm on Tuesday 8th September, a requiem mass will be said and the church will be open until 7pm if you wish to come and pray for the repose of her soul. Due to Covid restrictions there will be a private funeral the next day followed by cremation at Golders Green. Please pray for her soul and for Sandra her niece who has cared for her so beautifully.

Sunday 6th September
Late Summer Garden Party at St Paul's Camden Square from midday. Free Cocktail bar and light snacks available. All Welcome!

Weekday Mass times
Because of the current restrictions and the building works in church we will follow a simplified pattern of mass times until 6th September when we hope to be back in church.

Sundays 9.30am     outdoor Solemn Mass at Old St Pancras
Wednesdays 11am  Mass in St Paul's Church followed by coffee
Thursdays 10am      Mass at Old St Pancras followed by coffee

Simon, our Director of Music will be emailing later with musical reflections for this Sunday.

I look forward to seeing many of you at 9.30am for the outdoor Mass.

Every Blessing,

Fr James
