CASP (Country Arts Support Program) Grants Now Open

Country Arts Support Program (CASP) is an annual small grants program  supporting community arts and cultural development in regional NSW to:

  • assist locally determined community arts and cultural activities
  • increase opportunities for regionally based groups to access a diverse range of arts programs
  • enable communities to explore and express their cultural identities
  • bring social and economic benefits to the community through training, employment and promotional opportunities
  • lead to greater awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity
  • increase the sustainability and resilience of regionally based community arts organisations

Grants up to $3,000 are available primarily for professional artists’ fees, travel and accommodation. Priority will be given to projects that address regional recovery from bushfires/drought/COVID-19. 

To be eligible, applicants MUST discuss their project with Arts Mid North Coast before applying. For more information contact rado@artsmidnorthcoast.org or call 02 6658 9400

Applications close Tuesday 29 September 2020 at 5pm AEST.
Projects are to take place between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021.

Australia Council Creative Connections Webinar Series :
Practical and creative broadband conversations with Jennifer Ganske (NBN)

 
What are the opportunities for artists and creatives to use the broadband technologies to unlock innovation and creative ideas? 

This session hosted by Jennifer Ganske, (education, tourism and the arts at NBN Australia) and will be a discussion with key arts practitioners around best practice and opportunities for the arts and cultural sector to engage and use the National Broadband Network in their practice.

Jennifer will explore the Melbourne Digital Recital Hall as a case study for digital innovation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The session will include technical expertise to unpack how leading organisations and artists have taken advantage of emerging technologies and developed innovative approached to creating, distributing and presenting work.

Supplementary Volunteer Grants closes 20 Sep 2020

The Centre for Volunteering is offering grants of between $1,000 to $5,000 to support the efforts of NSW volunteers and to encourage and increase participation in volunteering. The grants are designed to support organisations with a high proportion (over 40%) of volunteers.   Read More

Live Music Funding for Venues Closes 13 Sep 2020

The Live Music Australia program is a competitive grants opportunity for small to medium sized venues that support quality original Australian live music.
