Seminars in Pediatrics is a one-day, virtual conference that highlights the latest trends in pediatric research and clinical practice. It provides physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and other members of the pediatric healthcare team with up-to-date information on developments in the prevention and treatment of childhood and adolescent diseases.

The theme of this year's virtual conference is Health Equity and Social Determinants of Health. Lectures will cover topics such as children's exposure to environmental pollutantsdisparities in asthma outcomes across populations, how health systems can support families with unmet social needs, and the unique challenges facing children in communities characterized by poverty and toxic stress. Additionally, a panel of community stakeholders will discuss racism as a social determinant of health during an interactive panel discussion. Finally, the current epidemiology and pathogenesis of pandemic coronavirus in children will be discussed, including up-to-date information on diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 in children and adolescents.
