Yale-NUS welcomed the Class of 2024 with a virtual First Year Assembly on 7 August 2020. With the addition of the new class, the Yale-NUS student body now stands at 1,018 students representing 69 countries as its diverse community continues to grow.

Professor Naoko Shimazu and her two former students have co-authored a book published by the National Library Board. The book is a collection of more than 150 Japanese picture postcards which offers insight into pre-war Singapore.
