Enroll in Summer Session

Our first session is underway. Due to the current COVID-19 status, this session will be entirely remote (online). If you are interested in attending, complete this form. If you've already reached out, there is no need to submit the form again.

Although we are not meeting in person, the Helena College campus is open. Masks are required for entry and all visitors must enter through the front door (near the Welcome Center.) Computers are available in the library. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm.

Paper-based HiSET Resumes

The Helena Adult Learning Center will resume paper-based HiSETS testing on September 11. Safety protocols limit the number of test-takers, so be sure to sign up early. To see the testing calendar or sign up for a test, sign in to your HiSET account.

Test-takers still have the option to take the HiSET exam at home. This eliminates the need to travel to a test center and also expands the times and days that the test is available. Read the complete list of requirements on the HiSET website.

Remote and In-person TABE Available

New and returning students are all required to have a current TABE test before enrolling in the Adult Learning Center. This year, you will have the choice to take the exam in-person or from your own home.

In order to take the TABE at home, you must have:

a laptop or desktop computer (smartphones will not work)
reliable internet access
Google Chrome
a webcam
a microphone and speakers

This year, all announcements and reminders will be delivered using Google Classroom. As of August 31, you will no longer be able to contact the staff using Remind.
