THIS WEEKEND IN DOWNTOWN

Spend your weekend in Downtown by exploring a new public art installation and dining out with restaurants that have recently reopened!

A vibrant mural was recently painted along Penn Avenue. Artist Jayla Patton's Colorful Growth/Soft Waves is a 3,500 square foot street mural that tells a story of mood and dynamic visual change through color. If you're looking to get outside and explore even more public art, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council has multiple free self-guided art tours that take you around the neighborhood learning about different art installations.

While you're out, you can stop by Market Street Grocery and pick up to-go cocktails and sandwiches at the Lemonade Stand Pop-Up, every Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Looking for a bite to eat? Sienna Mercato, Bakersfield, and The Speckled Egg have recently reopened for business. You can check out more news of restaurant and business reopenings here
