One Day Foraging
- Last Minute Availability -

Saturday 29th August 2020

Would you like to come foraging this weekend?

Due to a cancellation and an additional instructor (which means smaller groups) we now have FOUR places available on One Day Foraging this Saturday 29th August 2020

Our One day Foraging course will give you a great insight into the wealth of seasonal wild foods available in the British countryside.

You will learn how to prepare and transform foraged foods into great dishes, preserves and drinks.

This one day foraging course includes lunch based around wild ingredients. (Please mention any special dietary requirements on your booking form).

Preserving wild foods is a great way to extend the seasons and a vital part of the foragers year. Your tutor will be bringing their ‘Magic Rucksack’ full of wonderful tasters so you can experience the delights of wild food preserves.

Come and join us in our private woodland for a day learning to find, identify and prepare some of the amazing edible plants and wild foods that grow wild in our countryside.

We are strong advocates of responsible and sustainable foraging techniques and we will show you how to collect your wild edibles in a way that will have minimum impact on the landscape.

We will also teach you about the legalities of foraging and how, where and when you can forage for food, whilst keeping on the right side of the law.

The venue for this course is our own private 18 acre woodland in North Yorkshire, which is situated 5 Miles from the market town of Boroughbridge.
