Free webinar - Web-based demographic mapping for schools
Peter Buckingham of Spectrum Analysis and John Somerset FCA of Somerset Education would like to invite you to a free webinar on GeoMapping for Schools, Colleges and Universities on Tuesday 8 September 2020 from 11am - 12pm.
We will start this free webinar by explaining some of the basic concepts and terminology of mapping and show you how it can be used for making data-based strategic decisions for your school, college or university in the areas of marketing, enrolments, alumni and community development.
We will then show you what a school can see via the various components of the Spectrum Analysis Web Based GeoMapping Tool and how it can help you identify:
• school and university age population around your school
• estimates of student age children (based on ABS data)
• what percentage of children attend Independent schools in your area
• demographic attributes including religious affiliations
• other information

Spectrum Analysis Mapping for Schools in New Zealand
Spectrum Analysis has worked for many years in New Zealand, and we have now set up our mapping products for schools in NZ.
Stats NZ completed the 2018 NZ Census which was released in 2019, making it fairly fresh information for making decisions. By combining the recent data with mapping we have for New Zealand, we can help schools understand the relevant demographics across the country.
Whether we are working for corporate clients or schools, we aim to solve the issues that are placed in front of us. If you develop a Strategic Plan for your school, you would want to base this on the best and most reliable and recent information available.
In Australia, we provide a set of services for schools including advice on demographics, enrolments and making decisions related to marketing. We have established a suite of mapping tools for schools in conjunction with John Somerset FCA of Somerset Education, which will help answer the typical questions schools have about demographics, student numbers, growth for the future, bus routes and where future enrolments are coming from. We look forward to working with schools and other clients in New Zealand in a similar manner to those we work with in Australia.
