As we begin our 56th season, we are committed to delivering programming and performances within government recommendations, including creating and presenting work with physical distancing. We are excited to offer a three show subscription series, new creations, and a return to live performances.
This month we are thrilled to participate in events with Culture Days, Nuit Blanche, and Cinematheque.

Stabilization Grant and COVID-19 Emergency Support Fund
WCD gratefully acknowledges support from the Stabilization Grant program from The Winnipeg Foundation. The Stabilization Grant program was created in response to the unprecedented challenges not-for-profit organizations are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to the community of donors and donor advisors who support the grant programs offered by The Winnipeg Foundation.
WCD gratefully acknowledges support from the COVID-19 Emergency Support Fund from The Canada Council for the Arts. The Government of Canada set aside funds for The Canada Council for the Arts to support arts organizations facing revenue loss as a result of COVID-19.

Over the summer, and while we were closed due to COVID-19, we completed some painting inside the theatre. We now have a freshly painted wall and door.

Support Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers
WCD exists to serve Winnipeg and beyond through the creation and presentation of contemporary dance. Our work gathers people together to share, appreciate, and contribute to the development of contemporary dance in Winnipeg, often challenging societal norms and presenting diverse perspectives.
