Meet Sarah!

Flex Physical Therapy is thrilled to welcome Sarah Maissy, DPT to the team. Sarah will be seeing both orthopedic and pelvic floor clients.

Sarah is passionate about helping people move better and gain confidence in their own bodies. Sarah loves the detective work of getting to the root cause of the problem, and takes a holistic approach to empower patients to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

Sarah received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Puget Sound, and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms), and is finishing her Pelvic Health Certification through Evidence in Motion (PHC).

Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, and strength training.

A little more about Sarah...

What do you like best about living in the Pacific Northwest?
The mountains! I moved here from Southern California and have been loving all of the opportunities for outdoor exploring in the PNW. You can catch me backpacking, rock climbing, or taking a dip in an alpine lake!

Do you have a pet?
Not yet, but fingers crossed any day now!! We’re currently looking to adopt a dog, so send those rescue puppies my way!

Do you prefer to cook or eat out? What is your go to meal?
I looove to cook, especially cooking meals for friends and family. My go to is cooking Middle Eastern food which reminds me of days spent cooking with my Aunt. I’ve also recently started gardening and learning more about fermentation!

Fun fact:
I have a background in both classical ballet and weightlifting. When I was in college, I was both in a contemporary dance company and coached power-lifting classes. I’m passionate about helping patients get both strong AND flexible. You can and SHOULD have it all!
