Resurfacing Works completed in the Lower Car Park
Resurfacing works have been completed and the lower car park is open. There is still minor work being carried out to improve rain water diversion to reduce water pooling in the car park and on the ring road. Access to the ring road around the Clubhouse will likely be restricted for the next few weeks. A new pedestrian walkway has been added from the Club Entrance to the Clubhouse (double white lines means No Parking). Members & Guests are requested to use the pathway.

First Friday (4 Sep)
Nick Elliott (RPAYC Race Director) will be attending as our special guest. We are going to talk about some exciting new opportunities for cruisers to take part in races designed for cruisers to enjoy sailing without all the stress of normal races.
We will also talk about the basics of racing, so even if you haven't raced, come along and have an enjoyable evening.

2020-21 Yachting Season
Entries are now open for the 2020-21 season. Racing kicks off with the Pittwater Dash, Saturday 5 September.
Due to the current COVID restrictions, all events scheduled in September are classified as non-pointscore. The annual program will remain as printed in the handbook, with an additional Wednesday race added for 2 September.

Centreboard 2020-2021 Season Open
The 2020-21 season kicks off this Sunday 6 September. This season we will be running 2 course areas again. Volunteers are essential, if you aren't already racing it would be great to see you dockside lending a hand.
To race you must enter prior to race day and ensure your boat/sail number details are correct to receive a score. If you are a double handed boat your crews details must also be correct for the days race.
If you swap boats or change sail numbers during the season that equals a new entry.
An electronic sign on and sign off will be used, if your displayed details aren't correct you will be required to update your entry or create a new entry.
A competitor unable to attend a race due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed by a State or Federal Govt are eligible for Average Points. Applications must be in writing 7 days prior to the applicable race.

Tackers Learn to Sail (7 - 12yrs) is a great way for children to build up their confidence on the water, start to understand the concepts of sailing and make life long friends!

OutThere Teens
OutThere Teens 12-14yrs & 15-17yrs
The program incorporates a fun and exciting mix of on water activities including Paddle-boarding, Windsurfing, Sailing in Hobie Catamaran's, Pacer Dinghies & even an Elliott 7 Sportsboat! No experience is necessary.
Rather than a 4 day program, participants can select a daily session activity to participate in. Sessions are divided into age brackets and the program is open to the whole community.
