SLICE - Biodigital Jewellery by Paul McLure

September 5 - October 3, 2020
Reception by Appointment: Sat, Sept. 12, 11am-3pm & Sun, Sept. 13, 2-6pm
Craft Ontario Gallery, 1106 Queen St West, Toronto

'Slice' is a collection of jewellery expressing my fascination with the microscopic realm of the human body. Abstract forms refer to bacteria, viruses, cells and their structures within us. As these invisible but universal components come to define us, they also acquire cultural meaning independent of their biological definition.  – Paul McClure

Creative Parents by Sally McCubbin
Creative parents have to work to reconcile the gap between having children and having a creative practice. During a pandemic, though, this gap feels more like a gorge. For this Communiqué, I reached out to my community of parent-artists and designers to listen and find comfort.
