30th August 2020

In this email you will find updates from Terrigal Uniting Church, including our minister's message for the week, news about our community and information about worship. If you have something to include in our weekly news, please email admin@terrigalunitingchurch.com.
2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Our passage this Sunday has an amazing word of Hope within it.

It is a reminder that our life here and now has a hope beyond our physical body. A hope beyond this moment in time. That through faith we have an eternity with God.

It is a simple but beautiful truth. It is a hope that we can cling to in the darkest of times and a promise that we walk toward in faith. Sometimes we need to stop over complicating our faith and remember that in faith we have a place in God's eternity.

Blessings,
Richard

Home Church

Have you considered meeting with a small group of people in your home to worship together? Although we can't meet in the church building at the moment, we are still able to have up to 20 people in our homes, so if you are missing the friendships and conversations that you have at church, holding a small 'home-church' on Sunday morning might be a good alternative!
