Arctic Consensus invites you to an Arctic Dialogue Meeting, held as a webinar from Aalborg, Denmark.

We welcome you to a discussion with Michael Mann, EU Ambassador at Large for the Arctic, on the Arctic agenda of the European Union and more particularly on the update of the EU Arctic Policy, currently in the process of public consultation, and Mads Qvist Frederiksen, Senior Consultant at the Confederation of Danish Industry, on business development in the Arctic.

Remarks by MEP Christel Schaldemose, Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, and H.E. Kristján Andri Stefánsson, Iceland's Ambassador to the European Union, will follow.

AGENDA

Michael Mann, EU Ambassador at Large for the Arctic, will exchange on the Arctic agenda of the European Union and more particularly on the update of the EU Arctic Policy.

Mads Qvist Frederiksen, Senior Consultant at the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), will speak about DI’s cooperation with sister organisations from Sweden, Norway and Finland on business development in the Arctic.

MEP Christel Schaldemose, Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, will give remarks.

Conclusion remarks by H.E. Kristján Andri Stefánsson, Iceland’s Ambassador to the European Union.

The meeting will be introduced by Lise-Lotte Terp, Director, Arctic Consensus, and moderated by Rasmus Gjedssø Bertelsen, Professor of Northern Studies, Barents Chair in Politics, The Arctic University of Norway.
