"Get the Facts before you Vote" Yard Signs

Want to remind your friends and neighbors to “Get the Facts" before they vote? Post one of our LWV Los Alto Mountain View yard signs (24'"x18”) in your yard. The signs are designed to encourage voters to go to our website for voter information and register for our election events.

To request a lawn sign, complete the form at https://www.lwvlamv.org/lawn-sign-request/ and we will contact you. We suggest that you post the signs within about 6 feet of the sidewalk/street where walkers can scan the QR with their phone’s camera to call up our website. Also please do not place our signs directly next to candidate signs.
In November, we will contact you about returning or storing the sign for next election season.

“Housing in the Bay Area: How We Got Here
and What Will Bring About Change”

LWV Palo Alto is proud to announce a webinar event featuring: Randy Tsuda, President & CEO Alta Housing.

  • Wednesday, September 2, 2020, 12:00 noon
  • Register in advance for this free seminar
  • After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
  •  Submit your questions for Mr. Tsuda in advance here.

Eighty percent of Bay Area residents agree we have a housing crisis. Seventy percent of Californians support low-income housing in their community.

How did we get here and what can we do about it?  Randy Tsuda will present his personal reflections on change and growth in the Bay Area, and outline what we can do to tackle our housing shortage.

Randy joined Alta Housing (previously named Palo Alto Housing) in 2018. In May 2018, his department received the “Bringing It Home” award from SV@Home, a policy and advocacy organization focused on increasing affordable housing in Silicon Valley. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California.

Co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Los Altos-Mountain View Area, and of South San Mateo County and Palo Alto Forward.

Please complete your form so that we receive our share of federal dollars and representation!  Questions about the Census? Go to:  https://2020census.gov/en/what-is-2020-census.html
