Our services are currently meeting outdoors. These are shorter services with simple music and liturgy. Masks are optional. Bring a chair or blanket and water. A special section is provided for those who choose to wear masks.
  

Child Care. Nursery is available for 3 year olds and younger, and 4 year olds and kindergartners will exit worship services for Children’s Church. Elementary school children worship with their parents. Register for child care online by Thursday for September 4 services.

ThisWeek@FirstPres

Due to the lightning strike that took out much of our A/V equipment, we will be taking a hiatus from ThisWeek@ FirstPres while our team works to replace or repair our equipment.    
Supper/Fellowship, 6–7 p.m.
Worship 7–7:30 p.m.
Bring your own picnic supper, drinks and blanket or chairs
Grades 6–12 Meet at the Green on Greene from 6–7 p.m.

Christian sympathy is extended to Judy and Alex MacDonell and family on the death of Judy's sister, Cindy Smith, on August 23 in Martinez; and to Amy and Jerry Tice and family on the death of Jerry's mother, Miriam Tice, on August 23 in Evans.

Missionaries of the Week
Sue & Mark Newton—Africa Inland Mission, Kenya
The Newtons serve at Kijabe Hospital in Kenya. 

  • Pray for God to send more workers to help in areas with unreached people.
  • Pray that Christ would always be at the center of the ministry of Kijabe Hospital.
  • Pray that Mark will use the new techniques he learned in the U.S. last year to help many children get the surgeries they need.
