Over the next several weeks Pastor Sonny will guide us through a virtual travelogue from India to Spain to visit the final resting places of the Apostles. We'll learn about their journeys and how they found their way to their final destinations.
If you plan to attend in person,
please be aware of these guidelines and expectations:
  • First and foremost, use your discretion to determine what is in your best interest
  • Sanctuary has been disinfected and cleaned
  • NC guidelines state that masks/face coverings are to be worn in public places
  • We are sensitive to those who are unable to wear a face covering due to medical reasons, but we encourage those who can to do so
  • If you don’t have a mask or face covering, one will be provided
  • Use narthex entrances to access sanctuary; front door at overhang or rear door adjacent to playground
  • Please arrive early to allow for extra time to be screened
  • You will be asked screening questions prior to entering and have temperature taken
  • There is no childcare
  • Seating will be staggered to comply with social distancing rules
  • Offering plates will be in narthex adjacent to front doors of sanctuary. Giving can also be done online at epworthnc.com
  • We strongly discourage use of public restrooms
  • We will continue live-streaming via our YouTube channel
DUH!SCIPLES on Sunday will meet Aug 30 at 5pm on the back field. We'll kick off the weirdest year in DUH!SCIPLE history. We're stoked to welcome 6th graders to our ridiculously stunning group of youth. We'll meet for about an hour ... sanitized & sanctified.

Don't forget
your mask. Bring a chair, blanket or your swanky ENO (hammock) if you want. And bring your own snack too!

Oh yes, I’ll dance to God’s glory — more recklessly even than this.
And as far as I’m concerned . . . I’ll gladly look like a fool.
- 2 Samuel 6:22 (Message)
Epworth's Flock preschool and Learning Center are officially open! Both programs are full of incredible students and an exceptionally loving staff. Thank you for your continued prayers while we try new ways to support families in our community.
The Sept/Oct edition of the Upper Room is now available in the church office. Feel free to drop by and pick one up or you can call the church office and our administrative assistant, Sharon, will be happy to provide curb-side service.

We want to express our ongoing appreciation and thanks to all who pray faithfully over these needs each week. It’s obvious our prayers are working when we are able to remove individual names from the list when their health situation has improved. We also would like to request of our Epworth faithful members, when you add a name to our list, please be certain to update Sis Mills when they are better so that we can continue to maintain our list with current prayer needs. Thank you everyone for your contributions to the success of our prayer ministry.
