Dear eProgress Newsletter Sign-up
This month we launched the
Love Local Prize Draw. Together with Arun District Council and the Littlehampton Traders' Partnership shoppers will have the chance of
winning £250 in September, October and November and a
whopping £500 in December. More details below.
We are working on plans to
reopen our reception to the public before the end of the month. We will make an announcement as soon as we have the full details, until then we continue to be available via
email and regularly update our
website and Facebook with news. The pre-booked
visits to our Museum are going well and we hope to be able to extend the sessions once we have reopened the reception area. To book your free visit head over to the
Museum's website or call 01903 738100.
We are pleased to announce that we will soon be
launching an email newsletter dedicated to all things allotments. We hope to bring you regular updates about our allotment sites ranging from news on regular maintenance activities and the development of new sites to plot renewals. If this is of interest to you please
sign up online.
Sadly, the Government has had to bring in new measures which means that from
Monday 14 September it will be against the law to meet people you do not live with in a group larger than 6 (unless you are meeting as a household or support bubble). There are exemptions such as for work, education, weddings and funerals. For the full details see the
Government's website.
Household Waste Recycling Sites (HWRS) across West Sussex are starting to open up more fully, with most sites now accepting trailers (Littlehampton will continue to not accept trailers, although this is not COVID related, but for Health and safety and as before the outbreak). Single axle trailers are now accepted at most Household Waste Recycling Sites excluding Littlehampton, Horsham and Bognor Regis. Residents will still need to bring a permit for these types of vehicle. See the
HWRS website for more details.
Have you been watching the
Vlogs (video Blogs) showcasing town businesses and featuring our Town Mayor Councillor David Chace? This week the Mayor will be getting up and close to a python at Littlehampton Exotics. Make sure you visit the
Mayor's web page to watch it and catch up with previous ones.
