Social Prescribing - new insights and recommendations from the VCSE sector

Dear <<First Name>>,

Just a gentle reminder that we are launching our new report on social prescribing at an online event 9 September 10am - 11.30am. If you would like to attend and have not yet registered please do so soon to avoid missing out.

Register

NHS England commissioned us to gather perspectives from the VCSE sector on the ongoing NHS roll out of social prescribing link workers. Since then we've heard from over 300 people through a series of interviews, workshops and online engagements. The final report draws out the lessons from the first months of the roll out, and makes recommendations to the NHS and the VCSE sector on key issues such as funding, measurement, partnership and inequalities.

On the webinar, we’ll also be joined by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) who will also be launching their new report 'Social Prescribing How Do We Sustain Social Prescribing In The Wake Of Covid-19?'

Our speakers include:

  • James Sanderson, Director of Personalised Care at NHS England, and Improvement
  • Craig Lister, Managing Director of TCV's Green Gym
  • Sajid Hashmi, Chair of the Bury Voluntary, Community and Faith Alliance
  • Kate Jopling, National Voices' Associate, who was closely involved in our social prescribing workshops.

If you have any questions about the webinar or the report, please e-mail us at membership@nationalvoices.org.uk
