Every day I walk up this hill. Some days it's harder. Some days it's easier. I just keep doing it. Keep going.
I believe in you.

Writing during a worldwide health crisis and a national political debacle has been a struggle but this has been a good week writing-wise. I met my (modest) writing goal and poured this to celebrate.

No, the book isn't finished yet.

But today it feels like it soon will be. #momentum

Don't believe it.

My motto when writing, borrowed from the great @proflisajardine, is "Never knowingly under-catered." On this week's menu are blueberries and blackberries picked outside my backdoor and put in @nigelslater's peach and blueberry cobbler, homemade sourdough bread, Welsh rarebit made with @nigelslater's recipe, @ottolenghi cauliflower cake (pictured!), and @halfbakedharvest "mom's best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies." #amwriting
