Where exceptional teachers emerge.

Dear <<First Name>>,

Thank you for expressing interest in the UCSB
Teacher Education Program. Our focus to reach all learners and a practice grounded in partner schools make this program one of the highest quality in the nation for developing exceptional teacher leaders.

At UC Santa Barbara, you will:

  • Earn your teaching credential and master’s degree in 12 months
  • Learn by being fully immersed in classroom teaching
  • Build community within one closely connected cohort

Our teacher candidates serve as professionals who value the power of education, emphasize student-driven and relationship-centric learning, represent our diverse communities, and become teacher leaders who are motivated to improve the educational system.

We hope you consider applying to our program to become an educator who inspires and makes a profound difference in the lives of California's young people.
