Contemplative Practices Class Tonight

Our six-week class on contemplative practices continues tonight with a discussion of the life and person of Howard Thurman led by retired Bishop Charles Wesley Jordan. The class is tonight, Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. on Zoom. (Zoom link is at the end of this email.)

The format for the class will be:
Gathering (the zoom room opens at 6:45 p.m.)
Introduction of the class leader.
Leader introduces and explains the practice.
Leader guides an experience of the practice.
Leader leads a discussion reflecting on the practice.
Review of the classes.
