Happy Wednesday members!
After a lovely weekend the weather has decided to be a little less kind to us (is it not reading the posters everywhere about that??!) but on the upside it's not as cold I suppose.
Despite all the bad news in the media we're pleased to say we're still happily and safely operating - our drinks are cold and the food is hot - so why not pop up for a drink or a meal? The heaters are on and we're warm and dry, plenty of sanitiser around so there should be no stopping you!
Our buffet is not available at Alert Level 2, but our a la carte meals are, including a delicious plated roast meal for just $15 - take a look further along in the restaurant section for what's on offer.
(Restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday, from 5:30pm).
If you visited last week then you would have seen a few posters up again just reminding you of what you can expect when you come - the main points are:
- Please sign in when you arrive (if you've got the COVID tracer app on your cellphone then please scan that as you come in, but that's for your records - we still require you to sign our contact tracing register please).
- You'll be seated at a table when you arrive and be assigned a wait person - this lovely person will bring you your food and drinks - so sit back and enjoy!
- You may leave your table to head out to the smokers' area, to use the bathroom of course and to head up to the bar to pay just before you leave.
- Wash hands, sanitise, and as much as we love you all - please don't visit if you or anyone in your immediate bubble is ill.
We recognise that the situation may change at a moment's notice. We'll do our best to update you as any information comes to hand, via this newsletter mailing list and/or on Facebook.
Membership Cards - we're busily printing these as we speak - it's a lengthier process to print and activate each card now that they have bar codes associated with your membership numbers, but we're getting there.
I'm printing them sequentially in order from lowest membership number to highest. Currently I'm up to #650 so if your membership number is #650 or lower, then your card is waiting patiently at the bar for you to pick up (as long as you've paid your subscription). If you've requested your card to be posted, then this will happen as I print your card.
