Dear Colleagues, Family Members, Friends & Supporters,
This year has been full of adaptation and change. We have been pushed out of our comfort zones to a place where we must be, see, and do more. Through these challenges, our community’s commitment to optimism and hope has never wavered – and in that same spirit, we are excited to share with you that the SSM Health Foundation – St. Louis Gala, Hope Blooms, will be held in a virtual format on October 10th, 2020.
The theme of the gala, Hope Blooms, is a reminder and a celebration of the fact that when we join together, no matter the circumstances, hope can bloom. This pandemic has highlighted the increased importance of supporting cancer care efforts throughout our region. We must provide safe health care to the immunocompromised; we must enhance funding for programs such as clinical trials, innovative treatment options, and impactful patient experiences; we must continue to treat the patient, not just the disease. The Hope Blooms Gala gives our communities an opportunity to provide these patients with the medical attention, care, and most importantly, hope, that they need.
Please join me for this wonderful Gala, where you will enjoy dinner and wine delivered to your door, a silent auction, a fund-a-need, plus lively speakers and entertainment that you can watch from the comfort of your home. This virtual event will be a shining example of the faith and commitment of SSM Health and the SSM Health Foundation – St. Louis to the patients and families we serve.
