Transit Fares

  • King County Metro is continuing fare suspension through the end of September to encourage physical distancing on Metro buses
  • On July 1st, full fares resumed on all Sound Transit services (Link Light Rail, ST Express Buses, Sounder Train). ST Express buses transitioned to a single flat fare of $3.25 for all adult riders, regardless of distance traveled
  • Pierce Transit fare collection began again on June 14th

We’ve heard a lot of questions lately. Is it safe to take transit? How is Metro handling social distancing? What buses will have less service this fall? Listen as King County Metro and Commute Seattle answer these questions and respond to customer feedback. Within this recorded webinar link, a panel of experts from Business Services, Rideshare, Service Planning, and Operations discuss public transportation during COVID.
