Our Business Model Canvas sessions have been so fascinating that we have decided to extend this series into a third week! We are going to focus on one case study and work through as much of a BMC as we can in our 45 minute session.
All are welcome! We will do a wrap of what a Biz Model Canvas is and how it works if there are newbies on the call so that you , too, can get a feel for the context and jump right into learning by doing along with all of the group.
The Tablelands Business Hub - our StartUp & Innovations Tablelands headquarters - is available for hire! With a COVID Safe plan now in place, we're excited to open this venue back up for affordable use for small events and functions, meetings, and remote work hire.
This great facility is located at 47 Loder Street in Atherton and features:
Our COVID-19 support for Tablelands businesses is still available! The Business Lifeline programme offers free one-on-one advisory sessions with business experts in a range of key aspects of business, from finance and cashflow to strategy and planning.
This programme has already brought some well-appreciated relief to many local businesses in the time of COVID.
But don’t delay! This programme will have to stop when the funds dry up and it is first come, first served! Go for it!
Up to two sessions are available for each business, for a limited time only! Whether you want answers amongst the uncertainty, help in areas where your business has been affected, or guidance on new opportunities, now is the time to ask for support!
Christine tried this out and found Dr Diane Harner really good. Everyone has different tastes in therapists, but we seldom have an offer of free therapy - and this one is specifically by an entrepreneur (with a PhD in neuroscience) and for entrepreneurs.

Seamus and Christine (somewhat foolishly) signed up for a Qld Social Enterprise Council (QSEC) freebie course titled: Stories for Impact. We are learning about telling our ST story via video. ST has not been particularly adept at getting our story out and those two fearless (and foolish) Drivers decided we must do something about our lack of storytelling.
The deadline is all but upon us (this video will go out nationally if it can be done by deadline 28 Aug) and the tech is not the only thing that is challenging for our intrepid duo! Music has to be chosen and overlaid and our duo is not exactly the most musically inclined….and finding one more learning about yet another technological trick might just sink this ship!
Is there anyone out there who loves music and setting music to videos and who would volunteer to help out our struggling pair of storytellers who are heroically battling on a few fronts! Ring or email Christine on 0419 656 247 or christine@cddressage.com ! It feels good to volunteer for a good cause and you would be really helping us get our message out!
Thanks for anyone who is willing to pitch in (no pun intended)
